Pankaj Vir Gupta, Co-Director of the Yamuna River Project, spoke at the Common Room Foundation in New Delhi on September 13, 2019. He discussed what urban ecology means in the context of New Delhi with a special focus on the Yamuna River Project and proposing question such as: What are the broad contours of a holistic approach that can guide concrete interventions to improve the life of the city? How should different levels of governmentwork together? Is it possible to project a more inclusive vision of city life? etc. The Yamuna River Project is uniquely positioned to confront these critical questions on urbanity and its intersection with an increasingly fragile ecology.
